My name is Gaby, my family calls me Bean.
Welcome to Tangerine.
Tangerine, named after my favourite Led Zeppelin song, has been a dream of mine for a long while now. They say do what you love, and what that is for me is music and community. Brighton is the land of the creative, the colourful, the cool and I’m proud and lucky to call her my hometown. I hope that Tangerine will be a thread in the tapestry that makes this city so vibrant and exciting.
My vision for Tangerine is pretty simple: build a community space for people to come listen to some great music and bond with others over great coffee and Aperol, in some of Brighton and Hove’s corners of kookiness, loafing around on comfy cushions and rugs. With a turntable and some vintage speakers on the back of my orange trailer, incense and candles burning and (hopefully) some beautiful weather, I’m aiming to bring your favourite bohemian house parties to our wonderful streets of the city or your private events.
In time, I’m hoping Tangerine will become an established live music stage for new and established musicians, where The Tangerine Sessions will become a regular fixture of the evergreen local music scene!
Bring your own records, bring your friends, and make some new ones!
